Subject:Is it Imari?
Posted By: Tom Sun, Aug 03, 2014 IP: 199.59.106.195 I am wondering if this is an imari bowl. It is about 14" wide. I haven't been able to find any others like it online. The blue section is underglaze and looks quite lovely. The other colors are enamels (overglaze). I was also curious how old it might be. Thanks for any help you can give.

Posted By: Mike in Bangkok Thu, Aug 07, 2014 Yes, this is Imari, dating late 19th or early 20th century (no spur marks on the bottom from firing). A very nice piece although not avaluable piece.
