Subject:Chinese painting?

Hi!

I bought this painting many years ago, and at the time I thought it was a Chinese painting. It is painted on silk, with two maidens and some trees. I bought it in the frame, which is like wood carved to look like bamboo, and unfortunately, the glass is cracked. I know nothing about it, like if the frame is original, it's age, who is the artist or even if it is Chinese. Any information would be much appreciated!
