Subject:Vintage sake set identification
Posted By: willows Fri, Aug 22, 2014 IP: 75.49.249.61 I purchased this vintage sake set at a local estate sale. The set included two tokkuri and five cups glazed in shino with iron oxide brushwork. I cannot read the inscriptions on the box so I don't know whether this was made by a potter of note or just one of the thousands of potters working in Japan today. Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated.
