Subject:Another Yixing Teapot with Poem and Seal, Please help
Posted By: Mar M Sun, Sep 07, 2014 IP: 71.47.174.65

I am so grateful to have found this forum. I see that someone has recently posted with an inscribed Yixing teapot similar in age and style to one I have. I hope you may help me also with the inscription and/or the artist's signature seal.

My pot also about 25 years old. The inscription was described to me as a "poem," although that was a guess. The tea made in it seems to have had a light rose-petal smell and the donor further guessed that the poem had something to do with roses (though it seemed like mere guess work based on guess work).

I would be so grateful if you could provide any guidance on the inscription.

I also provide a picture of the seal from the bottom which I am curious about. There is another signature seal inside the lid, but it is worn so I didn't waste one of my three pictures on it. I regret that the quality of the photographs is not as skilled as many here.

I thank you in advance for your kind assistance.
