Subject:3 Japanese Scrolls, id help please?
Posted By: fujin Sun, Sep 07, 2014 IP: 86.181.47.66

Hi!

I have been sorting through some of my scrolls this weekend, and I have found three that I would really love a bit more info about. The first set of photos is Cintāmaṇi which has a box with an inscription on the inside and outside of the lid. The second set of photos is either Jurojin or Fukurokuju with a Crane, and the third set of photos is Mt. Fuji, which also has a box with inscription on the lid.

Thanks so much in advance if you can help with an artist id!!

I think I may I have figured out a couple of the characters myself, but it is very difficult! Hopefully in a few years I might be better at this!

I think the the first two characters on the reverse of the second scroll of Jurojin/Fukurokuju may say 井上 or 'Inoue' ???

And on the third scroll, I think the second character is 秀 ???
