Subject:Please help - dating Chinese table with special joint-work

Hello, Could somebody help me to get more information on this black lacquered Chinese table, please? This is Chinese square / 8 immortals / Baxian table - with special joint-work, 80cmx80cmx80cm (31.5"x31.5"x31.5").
Black lacquer over thick redbrown lacquer layer.

I felt for it because of the intricate construction (how the weight is spread) and beautiful proportions,

I'm not really sure about dating and wood.

Is it 19th century or....?
Material - is it northern elm / yumu?

Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.
