This is a modern carving, did you do the scratch test???

Thank you for your response, yes, I did the scratch test, no sign, could be jade? What do you think about the fissure? Is it normal for this type of objects? Thank you for your help.

"I did the scratch test, no sign, "... with a strong needle, make a 2-3 mm scratch, using enough pressure until you see a white or black line. Only then do you know !!

In larger carving one sees many times "natural fracture lines"
