Hi, in my opinion this dish is of Japanese origin. The decoration reminds me of Arita porcelain, likely of the late Edo period. Hopefully Emiko or Arjan will comment on this...
Best regards,
Mat

Just to add this, maybe the dish could be a bit earlier? I have seen such relief decoration with the brown rim on plates that were dated to the 18th century, an they also had no spur marks (as one would expect for that period)...

Thank you Mat
I must admit the thought did occur in my mind that the dish is Japanese in origin
Kind regards

Hi Toan,

I have this Japanese Imari style rectangular fish dish with the same border design around the "Three Friends" motif in its center. A faux mark on the base reads "Made in the Chenghua Year of the Great Ming Dynasty".

Best regards,

Bill H.

Hello to everyone,
Quick response.
Your plate or bowl is Imari sometsuke porcelain. 18th century. Around 1760 - 1790, Hizen.
Best Regards,
Emiko
