Subject:Wanli Phoenix Dish - real?
Posted By: JLim Fri, Oct 10, 2014 IP: 144.132.166.71

The next thing I got was this object - represented as being a Wanli phoenix dish.

Note the pronounced chatter marks on the base, as well as the grit and the distinctive "cartoony" look of Wanli era painting.

Would anyone confirm that this is 17th century porcelain? TO me it looks like possible kosometsuke.
