Subject:Calligraphy Scroll - old?
Posted By: JLim Fri, Oct 10, 2014 IP: 144.132.166.71

Dear all

I also bid on the pictured object - and lost!

IT was described as a Qing dynasty scroll - yet the cursive was so extreme that even my Chinese father could not read it.

Can anyone read this scroll? Could it be as old as presented? And is this calligraphy aesthetically interesting, or merely incompetent and semi-literate scrawling??

Thanks!! This is the last question for now!
JLim
