Subject:cobalt blue raptor

Hello,
This piece is 11" tall with a glossy glaze inside as well as outside and a couple of dabs on the dry bottom. Is this piece identifiable? Is there any significance to it? I assume that it is 20th century because of the backstamp but is that a correct assumption? Were older pieces ever backstamped later because of the McKinnon requirement?
