Posted By: george w Sun, Oct 19, 2014 IP: 172.13.162.153

Previous I posted this but the url for the images were wrong I think. Can anyone help with me on the age and value of this vase? The size is about 8.8x5.5inch

Best Regards,

This looks to be a 3rd quarter, 20th century product of a porcelain-painting factory in Macao or Hong Kong. Patterns like this one typically are laid down using transfers or sometimes rubber stamps and usually date no earlier than the 1960s.

The stamped-on apocryphal base mark says "Made by Imperial Order, Qianlong Reign". Strictly a decorative piece.

Best regards,

Bill H.
