Subject:memorial plaque?

Hi, I found this at a junk shop. It came from an estate of a woman who was from japan. It is a shadow box with an engraved plaque. Id love to know what it says and the meaning for it. It also has two torn pieces of news paper behind the plaque. Maybe an obituary? thanks for any help!

the inscription says that the picture is after a silk scroll by Ming painter Dai Jin called Spring Scene in the Mountains, and offers a cyclical calendar date equivalent to 1974 (if meant to be date of the box's execution) or 1434 (if meant to be a corresponding date during Dai Jin's lifetime). I think you can ignore the date. There are several possible paintings attributed to Dai Jin that may be the source of this picture, but they are not secure attributions.In my view your picture imitates this one:
