recent Chinese painting called "Ink Drunk", painted in Xian by someone surnamed Luo

calligraphy is pretty good. The caption says "Ancient Capitol ChangAn XXX". XXX could be "write or draw". The seal looks like Luo (a Chinese surname) but not sure.

I received a reply on another board pointing out the drawing is remarkably similar to one by Wang Xijing.

Is it common for living artist to copy each other?

Piracy is rampant in China as I can tell. I wouldn't be surprised if one artist copied from another.
