Subject:Help with partial JAPANESE translation
Posted By: Peter Sun, Nov 09, 2014 IP: 50.163.25.80 Hi. I am having trouble identifying a couple of character on these two vases. I'm wondering if someone could fill in what the missing characters are, and/or correct me if I got any wrong. I'm trying to figure it out myself, but so far I only have a little over half done. I know they are made my Ando, but the first mark does not conform to the standard AN-DO-ZO mark that I normally find. At the very bottom of both signatures, there are large characters that I've never seen before. Any help would be appreciated. |
