Hello. I recently inherited a vase. Can someone decipher the markings for me? Thanks.

The mark, shown here 90 degrees to the left of proper reading position, is a scruffy version of the six-character Qianlong reign mark, 'Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi' (Made during the Qianlong Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty), as featured on what probably is a late 20th century decorative melon jar.

Best regards,

Bill H.
