Subject:jade bixie waterpot

Hi got this interesting piece of jade water pot recently . It has a character Chen on the stopper, could be the owner's name . Don't think there is any recorded jade carver with this name. This beast has 3 claw and looks like a dragon head and a bixie body. Was used as a ink pot by recent owners as there is plenty of dried up western blue ink in it, which i have washed out.

Going by the stopper, I have a suspicion that this is modern and not Jade...

stopper has old cut mark with tubular drill. also the stopper is hollowed probably for a bronze spoon?

more photos my suspicion the word chen means upright which could indicate it was owned by a scholar official
