Subject:China - celadon charger with white slip decoration
Posted By: Tom W Sun, Nov 23, 2014 IP: 173.73.100.104 The pictured celadon charger is about 15" in diameter and stands about 3" high. I would appreciate any thoughts on when it may have been made. Is it an export piece? Thanks. Tom |

Posted By: mike05 Tue, Nov 25, 2014 Tom, beautiful ware, I guess it is made in the mid-late Qing Dynasty, after qianlong time, the motif is all good wishes, with plant of four seasons, which means all time peaceful life, with five fortunes to wish the good longevity....of course it is export porcelain. |
