Here's a set of three plaques I recently acquired. All sized around 10.5 inches by 6.5 inches. All three have been well framed though I've taken teh liberty of removing the back on each plaque to have a peek at the underside. I think they are nineteenth century though one maybe earlier. The glaze stops at the edge and doesn't overflow which makes me think they are later. Also the payout of the fixing ribs seem to make them later. Colours seem good and show appropriate iridescence for age but I am concern with the facial painting which seem a little over animated and lack the subtlety of earlier pieces. All observations and comments welcome. Gerry
