I wanted to add a better pics of the painting on the vases and the mark.. very nice detailed hand painting.. hopefully someone can decipher the mark for an approx time period as to age.

The marks read from right to left in Chinese seal script as "Qianlong", but written in a variant style that looks something like the seals of some Republic-period Qianjiang School porcelain painters (photo of a Deng Bishan seal is included herewith). I've heretofore never encountered this variant script as a stand-alone two-character mark of the Qianlong reign title.

The paintings on these vases look to be snow scenes, of which genre I've recently seen a apparent influx of contemporary reproductions attributed to He Xuren (何許人 - 1882-1940), a noted Qianjiang artist and member of the "Eight Friends of Zhushan" at Jingdezhen. The use of black pigment for diaper motifs also was common during the Republic era and later.

Without having seen any vases exactly like these before, I can only resort to a guesstimation that they're no older than the Republic Period and quite possibly date to the post-1950 years.

Best regards,

Bill H.
