Subject:Lacquered bronze

This 16 cm high statue is a mistery to me. It is quite heavy, and I think made of bronze with gilt lacquer (?) on it.
Is it Padmasambhava? Is it Tibetan or Chinese?
I have no idea.

Dear Macheng,your bronze is chinese not tibetan .It seems to be a buddhist hierarch , not Padmasambhava . Rémy.

Its not easy to date your statue,but I'd say late 19th century.
