Subject:Japanese (?) Negative Woodblock Print
Posted By: Daniel Wed, Dec 24, 2014 IP: 50.92.16.227

Hello,

I have a print which is on rice paper, it appears to be a "negative" print. I want to assume its Japanese by the styling but I've never seen this technique in either Chinese or Japanese printing (except in the case of Japanese 'fish prints' where they apply ink to a fish print with it). I posted this some time ago but I never found where the message ended up so sorry if this is a repost. If anyone can tell me what my print is called and possibly some details of the subject matter I would greatly appreciate it!
