Subject:Unknown whether replica or not, just always a possibility

Are there more pictures of the top and bottom of the box? I can only see two pictures of the sides.
As to replicas...recently I acquired a flyer dated 1935 from the "Teh Hsing Cheng" cloisonne shop on Hatamen Street, east of the Legation Quarter in Peking (then called Peiping, the capital having been moved to Nanking). It contains this interesting statement about the originator of the company and his doings in the 1860s:
"As at that time, the cloisonné ware was very rare on the market, Mr. Chia sold his product for a good price, especially to the high officials who used to take them as the old curios of Ming Dynasty."
