I believe this is a Zitan wood cabinet (possibly Zitan and Hongmu both) but would like to to get an opinion from someone with more specialized expertise and experience in this area. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

if you can cut i tiny fraction of the back of the front apron and put it in spirit - zitan will color the liquid red instantly.

I've been spending most of last year researching on a Zitan cabinet which has taken me around in all areas of the questioning of how to tell if Zitan, hongmu, HHL, Jingmu and all the others.

There are few scholars on the subject why the information is hard to locate … try to look for the pterocapus Indicus
