Posted By: Bill H Tue, Jan 13, 2015 I believe the marks "Pekin" (outmoded transcription for Beijing) and "Canton" (outmoded transcription for Guangzhou") have been used by more than one English maker of ironstone wares since at least the 19th century, if not earlier. You might want to do a search of eBay and webmalls such as trocadero.com and rubylane.com for leads to further information. |
