Subject:Signed Kakiemon Vase, need Help!
Posted By: Peter Sun, Jan 18, 2015 IP: 98.15.164.247 I recently purchased this beautiful vase at an auction, no information was given, I was told after that the signature is Kakiemon by a friend but I can't find anything similar, it measures approx. 13" tall any help is appreciated!

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Jan 19, 2015 The mark, shown upside down here, looks a bit like the one associated with Kakiemon Sakaida XII (1878-1963). Here's a link to a Trocadero listing for a plate with his mark for your comparison.
