Subject:Woodblock Print ID please help !
Posted By: Michael D Fri, Jan 23, 2015 IP: 125.236.163.205

Hi everyone, I would real appreciate some information on what I think is a woodblock print - probably 20th century as inside the frame are newspaper pages dating to 1935....
It is signed in pencil, with a seal. Also signed in English K or R Hayashi ? - I cant find any information about this artist, so perhaps the Japanese writing doesn't translate to Hayashi ?
The location itself is also written - Kiyomiza Dera - Kyoto.
The art itself looks to be very good quality with very fine detail and done a vellum type paper.
Any help about this item would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks,Michael

Looks more like a copper engraving than a woodblock print.
