Posted By: Bill H Tue, Feb 03, 2015 Forgot to mention, but "Jingde Guyao" means "Jingdezhen Ancient Kiln". I can't find the mark either in Gerald Davison's latest edition of "The New & revised Handbook of Marks on Chinese Ceramics" or the 2006 Shanghai-published Zhong-guo Li-dai Tao-ci Kuan-zhi Da-dian (which I would informally translate as "Compendium of Markings on Chinese Ceramics through the Ages"). |
