Subject:Need help identifying this watercolor
Posted By: Anthony Sun, Feb 08, 2015 IP: 24.147.2.19 So, I was walking around a local flea market and stumbled upon this little watercolor that just really stood out to me. I know nothing about it, but I'm hoping that someone here could help identify the age, artist, and if it has any monetary value. Thanks in advance! |

Posted By: Stan Mon, Feb 09, 2015 It is a Japanese woodblock print by Hiroshige. It is the Mariko Station from the Kichizo Edition of his "The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido" series circa 1850. Here is one at the Boston MFA: |
