Subject:chinese bronze signature

Can anyone identify this signature from the bottom of a bronze vase and maybe the ate or dynasty it was made??

These are both Japanese pieces, apparently 20th century from your limited photos but the first perhaps Meiji. If no one responds, repost them with full images of the bronzes and as Japanese to get attention.

The signature is probably Japanese. I read it as 'Ikitani' (淢谷) but I'm not completely convinced if my reading of the first character is OK.

Please post an image of the vase.

A beautiful Meiji bronze vase with Japanese dragon, holding the Sacred Pearl of Wisdom. The signature in cursive reads 'Seiya' (not Ikitani as I stated earlier). The Seiya workshop was one of the leading metalworkers and makers of bronze vases and okimono (ornament for display) in Tokyo. Date ca. 1890.

Transcription in Japanese of the signature: 誠谷 (Seiya).
