Subject:Yongzheng zhi dragon teacup help
Posted By: Helmut Jungert Fri, Feb 20, 2015 IP: 172.242.252.122 I have a square Yongzheng blue Zhi dragon teacup and any info about it would be great, circa 1723-1736. |

Posted By: Bill H Sun, Feb 22, 2015 The cup appears to be a late 20th century or subsequent Chinese decorative product. Its Yongzheng mark lacks the calligraphic and circle-drawing consistency that comes with the use of a brush by a trained hand. Such variances help to identify the piece, with the probable exception of the dragon handle, as being decorated using transfers or rubber stamps to apply the design elements. |
