Subject:Okimono or Repro?
Posted By: Brett Thu, Mar 12, 2015 IP: 69.119.204.46 I got this at a sale for a few bucks. I didn't think it was anything special, but it did look nicely carved for what it was. I originally thought it was some type of plaster or porcelain, but when I saw it in the light I saw some yellowing and things characteristic of ivory. Anyone know if this is just a piece of junk or anything special. There is an incised signature but it looks like english.

Posted By: j lewis Fri, Mar 13, 2015 Pics are low res and a bit fuzzy so it's impossible to be sure, but I don't think it is ivory. Plastic or resin.
