Posted By: Bill H Sat, Mar 21, 2015 I believe the mark (shown on its left side) may read down when flipped as "Made by Seiko" (Sei-ko Tsukuru - 清光作). The characters at left are standard forms of the cursive ones in the mark. |

Posted By: Guy Sat, Mar 21, 2015 This is a beautiful Meiji bronze okimono of a roaring tiger with the original wooden base, signed 'Seiko saku' (made by Seiko), probably casted in the workshop of the famous metalworker Sato Seiko, ca. 1890-1900. |
