Subject:Chinese octagonal plate

I wonder if anyone can help identify the characters in the impressed mark on this octagonal, Chinese I suppose plate.
Unfortunately it is not in the best condition
I do not know if it's worth putting it to repair and restoration. I like him very much but repairs may exceed the value.
Any comment would be appreciated.
