I'm looking for some help with identification about this book. I found it an estate sale about 10 years ago. Someone translated the title as "Collections of Paintings by Qi Baishi". I've found a few copies, and some information on the internet, including a 2012 post about this book on this forum. The only problem is, my copy is lacking any information pages. On other copies I've seen that there are 2 written pages included, one page that might be a self-portrait of the artist with writing underneath, and the other which shows the publication date of 1952. Since mine has neither of these pages, does it mean mine is a reproduction, a fake, or a later edition? I found one copy online which the seller calls "a later edition" but even that copy has one page of informational text (in Chinese, though no date). Inside my cover there is some writing along with a price tag which might help with identification. Mine is in the accordian format with silk covers and 22 prints. Also, I can feel the texture of the paint on my pages, unlike a printed copy. Thank you very much, as any information will be appreciated.

It's unclear what you have from the images you've posted. What are you trying to compare it to, the Rongbaozhai prints of his work? Your description suggests that what you have is something different from those.

Yes, your friend has the title correct. Here are the characters. Run them through Google Images and click on the webpages for auction information.

rat, Thank you for your reply, though I have already found much auction information about the book. My question is, Is my book a copy of his work? Since my book does not contain the information/publication date, I'm thinking it is a copy? That is what I'm asking, does it look like a copy to you? I've read his work is often copied, though would a whole book be a copy, or could it be a quality reprint? Could it have been published by Rong bao zhai at a later date? Thank you for any help!
