Subject:Japanese Silk painting

This silk? art piece of Mt Fuji I know nothing about.It measures 10 3/4" tall x 9 1/2" wide.The red part feels like silk but could be a synthetic and the white and grey I think is something else .Any ideas? Christo

decorative work, second half 20th century it would seem. Seal reads Tanaka, a common surname.

It's a modern interpretation of Hokusai's iconic woodblock print 'Fine Wind, Clear Morning' from the early 1830s.
