Subject:i would like some help to classify this object

Hello, i would like some help with this pot, it seems to be japanese with good quality work, it is 17 cm high.

i would like to date it and maybe know who made it.

I have two more with te same kind of work, i will post their pictures too.

Hi, you three pieces are Japanese Sumida Gawa ware. Search for Sumida on this forum and you will find a lot of informations, also on the marks.

All three pieces are Japanese indeed. It's Sumida (gawa) pottery and dating from the first half of the 20th. century. You can make a search "sumida" on internet or even on this site to find out more about it.

The three objects that you show are first half 20th century export Sumida pottery ware.

For the maker's marks see the corresponding Gotheborg page in the link below.
