Subject:Chinese probably taoist silk painting
Posted By: Marcos Mon, Apr 06, 2015 IP: 189.120.142.195

Hi,

Does anyone has any clue about this painting and what it represents?

I guess it may be somehow related to taoism.

Any help will be appreciated.

(I am sorry about the photos´poor quality).

Thanks a lot,

Marcos

Can't tell enough from these photos, but the horseman is dressed as a Song-era official. What makes you identify it as Daoist?

Hello Rat,

Thanks for your input and sorry about the bad photos.

I was under the impression the two kids were the hehe Er Xian twins as one of them is carrying a ruyi specter.

I will try to get better photos.

Thanks a lot,

Marcos
