Often the cursive writing on an artwork is in an old fashioned style which few can readily read.

Very attractive piece.

This is a modern/contemporary imitation of Republic-era ceramic artist Wang Yeting, whose "signature" appears in the inscription, purportedly dating to the renshen year, which would be 1932. the plaque is entitled 湖光山色, something like "radiant lake, colorful hills".
