Subject:Who is the Artist and is this an original painting

I wonder if you can help me decipher this signature of some
art I recently acquired. Would like to find out it's approximate
value and if it is original or a reproduction.

The characters 南田 belong to a Japanese artist (or maybe studio) named Minamida, who has come to forum attention in the past (first link) and also has one shared auction result (2nd link). You might be able to find additional information with a more studious survey of the name via Google.
