Posted By: Bill H Tue, Apr 14, 2015 The shape of this bowl and lid, as well as the style of its decoration, would seem to indicate it is Japanese. Seems to be a theme of "Lucky Gods". The connected dots in the background with the figure holding a lotus is a constellation in the sky, which would carry some sort of astrological significance. Afraid can't help with dating it. |
