Subject:ID Orange Japanese Vase with Flower Design

I have a vase impressed with "Made in Japan". It is burnt orange with yellow and white flowers painted on it. It is about 20cm tall. It also has another mark impressed into the base, maybe a makers mark. It also looks like it has been thrown on a pottery wheel instead of being made from a mould.
I haven't seen a vase like this before. I have never seen a vase with impressed with "Made in Japan" before, I'm used to seeing it stamped with glaze.
Does anyone know who made this or have any other info they can share?
