Subject:Temple Rubbing
Posted By: Shelley Leonard Wed, May 20, 2015 IP: 70.199.137.166 This rubbing was given to my mother by a friend who's father made the rubbing at a temple in China. Can anyone tell me more about the temple is might have been? Something about the writing? Thank you |

Posted By: Chris Summers Mon, Nov 21, 2022 I have the same rubbing hanging on my bedroom wall. It came to me after my parents died, my father's parents lived in China until 1932 and collected many antiques. We had 4 of the Taizong horse rubbings in our home when I was a boy. My parents kept them after my grandparents died and then when my parents passed on my 3 siblings and I each took one. |
