Subject:satsuma round box , signature identification

hello
i have this very nice satsuma round box , it is all decorated with children outside and inside the box , it is signed on the base , but i can't read it so i will be happy if anyone can tell me anything about this box or its maker , it is around 10 cm wide .

This isn't a Satsuma mark but one of Kinkozan, a celebrated Meiji-era studio in Kyoto. There's quite a lot of additional information and comment available in the forum archive if you wish to use the search feature to query the name.

Hi, I think that is a Kinkozan mark. He is a well known maker from Kyoto. I believe boxes of this shape and size are called "kogo" and are incense boxes.

The mark reads 'Kinkozan'.
Meiji era export ware from the Kinkozan factory. Good quality.

thank you all very much for the information , i also have this
square plate that i will be happy to know its maker , the signature is a bit worn , and i have another box , with a different design but in the same size that i will be happy to know a bit about it .
