I wanted to know what the mark on a small teacup says.

For lack of other information, I'd previously speculated that another dish with this mark posted here for ID'ing might be a Chinese repro. However, this time I got a Google hit on a blogger who saved the day with the Japanese transliteration "Eiwa Kinsei" (栄和謹製), literally "Carefully Made by Eiwa", and a date of around the 1970s -1980.

Here's the link for others who'd like another spot to check for their Japanese marks.

Best regards,

Bill H.
