Posted By: Bill H Sat, May 23, 2015 The mark reads "Wan Yu" (Jade Trinket), which "The New & Revised Handbook of Marks on Chinese Ceramics" (2013) by Gerald Davison indicates was used as early as the Qing Kangxi reign (1662-1722). With your tea in better focus than the dish in question, the most that can be said is that the foot rim on your dish appears to lack the straw color typically seen on Kangxi wares. |
