Subject:Identity of two teapots
Posted By: Jim Fri, Jun 05, 2015 IP: 66.169.108.80

The two teapots, if that’s what they are, seem pretty modern. Mark was not found in Gotheborg Japanese or a few other sources. Appreciate any help with an identification of the maker or even the country of origin. Thanks, Jim

The illegible characters of the mark show that it was made by a non-Chinese, and the painting style seems to confirm that. Perhaps made in SE Asia?

Thank you very much Peter, I had just about given up on getting some clarification. Thanks again, Jim
