Subject:Can anyone indentify this.

Greetings,

I have a piece of artwork that belonged to my great aunt. It was left to me in 1993. The only thing I know about this item is that it had been given to her by a woman who lived in her New York apartment building, somewhere around 1928. She saw fit to leave it to me when she passed away.

I have asked a few local folks about it and have been told it was "outlined in quill" by one person. The painting looks unique and is raised from the outer border in the frame. Some of it almost looks like it was done in pencil and, or ink. There is no visible signature.

Can you give me any information about it. Possibly who it is of? I was told possibly Emperor Lu from the Ling Dynasty? Who may have painted/drawn it? Value?

Anything would be helpful!

Thank you so much!

Thomas
