Subject:Unkown Qianglong mark identification

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Jun 29, 2015 It says "Da Qing Xian-feng Nian Zhi" but if you want to know whether it carries anything but decorative implications for whatever it's on, then you would do well to show the entire piece. |

The first two show a 5.5-inch (14 CM) diameter saucer dish, and the last is a 7.6-inch (19.25 CM) diameter plate. The latter is illustrated as figure 21.3.1a in Tony Allen's new book, "Allen’s Antique Chinese Porcelain--The Detection of Fakes". |

At the time i only had a few minutes and grabbed only a picture of the seal.Some of the paint has faded, from my understanding when the pigment has been glazed properly it does not fade, so more than likely it is a fake, i have never seen a qianlong seal like this before that is why i posted it. |
