Question is this kutani.
Or kutani style .
This vase is 22 cm high.
I would be happy with any information.

Your Japanese tea ceremony vase looks more like Kyoto than Kutani ware. It seems to be in the style of (after) Okuda Eisen who is said to have produced Kyoto's first porcelaneous ware, which was painted with red, green and turquoise blue enamels in a style that tended to mimic South Chinese Swatow wares. The attached picture is from a web seller who attributed his similar vase to Eisen.

Robbert.
I searched the net for items from okuda eisen.
Ifound three all three in the style like that swatow plate.
The vase is Kyoto stoneware.
But the vase from B-P has nothing to do with okuda eisen i think.I have shown the vase on the Gothenborg forum, and i believe now hw is 50 years old.
But it is a Kyoto stoneware vase.
Robert again thanks for your help.
Wil
